Warnings

  • Assemble the tabletop first using the spanner taped to the packaging.

  • This furniture has been made from previous industrial material.

  • While every effort has been made to make the furniture safe by sanding and cleaning, please ensure you handle the furniture with care as hazards may still exist.

  • Keep away from children when building and dismantling.

  • We advise using work gloves to reduce the possibility of splinters or cuts.

  • Please see the image below for all bolts and components to join the two desktops halves together.

Step 1: Join the tabletop halves

Join the two tabletop pieces together using the bolts provided. Please see the video link below to help with this section.

To join the tabletop together start by placing it face down on the floor. You may want to leave the bubble wrap on the tabletop face for this part or place it on a smooth carpet to avoid damaging the tabletop surface. There are holes on both sides of the desktop underside that will align using the wooden biscuits provided. Please insert the biscuits into one of the desktops holes to help with alignment.

Once the tabletop is aligned, place the worktop bolts provided into these gaps and tighten the bolts using the spanner provided. Please tighten all three bolts simultaneously. Then use the screws to screw the wooden battens underneath the desk so that they line up with the predrilled holes on the other half of the desk. The longest batten goes in the centre with the other two on either side.

Then place the tabletop on top of the legs and secure in place using the Allen key on the bolts provided.

Step 2: Attach the tabletop to the legs using the Allen key

With the legs lined up with the insert nuts, tighten the bolts to the legs using the Allen key. Your table is now complete as shown below.

We source our Allen keys sustainably from The Metal Store.
