HELP GUIDE
Industrial Storage
What you will need
- Industrial Storage Assembly: Two strong people capable of lifting the frames and holding them in place during installation.
- A spanner or an M10 Hex bit for your drill to secure the doors back into place.
Warnings
- This furniture has been made from previous industrial material.
- While every effort has been made to make the furniture safe by sanding and cleaning, please ensure you handle the furniture with care, as hazards may still exist.
- Keep away from children.
- We, therefore, advise using work gloves to reduce the possibility of splinters or cuts.
Step 1: Building the frame
Stand up one of the main frames (Part A) and insert the three joining tubes (Part B) and tighten the tubes in place using the Allen key.
Image 1.
Slide the bottom shelf underneath the side panels. You may need to use the mallet to aid with this (image 2). The bottom shelf will be labeled with the number 1 on the rear of the shelf itself in the rear corner (as indicated by the red arrow)
Join the second frame (Part A) to the other end of the three joining tubes (Part B). Ensure both sides are fully locked in and then tighten the bolts fully. Image 3.
Step 2: Placing the shelves
Firstly, identify which shelf goes where. Each shelf has been labeled from 1 to 5 with 1 going on the bottom and 5 being placed on the top. Subsequently, to ensure they are the right way up we have labeled each shelf on the rear and right-hand side of the unit as shown with the red arrow in the previous image 2.
Work from the bottom up. Lay the second shelf and so on until the top shelf has been placed. 2. If you ever wanted to move the top 3 shelves heights you can do so by simply undoing the tubes and sliding up and down.
Step 3: Fitting the doors
Please then use the bolts/nuts and washers provided as shown below. Please note you will, therefore, need someone to hold the door upwards as the bolts are tightened. This will ensure the doors are held at the correct height so they shut smoothly.
Using a HEX bit with a drill (a spanner will also work) tighten the bolt once the door is being held up.
