HELP GUIDE
Thank you for choosing our eco-friendly, custom-made room dividers.
Please see the answers to some of the frequently asked questions regarding these wooden room dividers to help you answer these questions.

Each slat is secured with a height adjustable foot at the bottom that is rotated using the spanner we provide you with. They are very secure once tightened and very easy to install for solid floors and solid ceilings.
We can provide battens and screwing into ceiling/floor options as well (please see section 6 below) but most people opt for the simplicity of the first option. Please check out the video below to show you what is required.

As standard, we have four main finishes (Natural Danish oil, Jacobean Dark Oak, Painted black & Walnut). Please see the three main finishes in the images below. We also have close-up videos of each finish in the next section.

Our eco-friendly room dividers are made from reclaimed timber to help ensure our furniture and business remain sustainable.
For this reason, the wood will have many natural imperfections that we think add to the natural beauty of the wood. To see it for yourself please see the three videos below to show you up close how these can look for our three main finishes (Natural Danish oil, Jacobean Dar Oak, and Painted black).

The slats are naturally 3.5cm x 6.5cm wide.
The spacing in the main advert images is as per Option 1 in the image below. You can have any spacing you like, though as well as the opposite orientation. If you opted for Option 1, as a rule of thumb, you would need a divider for every 10cm gap you are trying to fill.

Solid Ceiling Types: Concrete, Wood, and Brick
They also work for other surfaces but extra care may be needed and in some cases, advice from a professional such as a carpenter or builder would be advised. Please see some potential issues with different surfaces below.
False ceilings: False ceilings only work when there is a solid section for the room divider to push up against (i.e. the metal frame). They will not work if placed directly under a panel as they will simply push the panels upwards.
Carpet: The room dividers will work on the carpet but the foot will push downwards into the carpet. For this reason, we recommend telling us the depth of the carpet so we can take this into account when cutting your dividers.
Plasterboard: While most plasterboard will be strong enough to withstand the pressure from the room dividers, this is not a guarantee. You may want to get some advice on your ceiling from a professional (builders and carpenters).
