Bed Assembly Instructions
What you will need
- Two people capable of lifting the metal frame during assembly.
- A screwdriver to secure the slats to the metal fittings
Warnings
- This furniture has been made from previous reclaimed industrial materials. While every effort has been made to make the furniture safe by sanding and cleaning, please ensure you handle the furniture with care, as hazards may still exist.
- Keep away from children when building and dismantling. We advise using work gloves to reduce the risk of injury.
Assembly
Step 1 - Assemble the frame
All you will need is the Allen key provided and a screwdriver to connect the slats to the metal frame. The bed frame comes as four separate tubes (Parts D & E) and two frames (head and feet side – Parts B & C) as shown in the image below. These are joined together with the Allen key provided. Please lay them out as shown below. You will need two people to help hold the tubes in position as you tighten them.
Step 2 - Install the slats
The 6 boards (Part A) simply sit on top and need to be drilled into the predrilled holes using the metal fittings as shown below.
There are 4 fittings either side and there are two sets of 3 slats.
You only need to drill in the outer slats into the fittings above.
