Crafted entirely from reclaimed materials, these dividers are the perfect addition to any environmentally conscious home. Each divider is unique, with character and charm only found in reclaimed materials.
The slats have a natural width of 3.5cm x 6.5cm. In the main product images, the slats are spaced according to Option 1 as shown in the image. However, you can choose any spacing and orientation you like. If you choose Option 1, a good guideline to follow is to use a divider for every 10cm gap you want to fill.
Each slat is secured with a height-adjustable foot at the bottom that is rotated using the spanner we provide you with. They are very secure once tightened and very easy to install for solid floors and solid ceilings.
We can also provide battens and screw-fixed ceiling or floor options, but most people choose the simplicity of the adjustable-foot installation.
As our standard room dividers work using pressure, they work best in areas where both the floor and ceiling are solid. They are very secure once tightened if you have a solid floor and ceiling and very easy to install.
They also work for other surfaces but extra care may be needed and in some cases, advice from a professional such as a carpenter or builder would be advised. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
The foot can adjust by up to 5cm but then the foot at the bottom would be fully extended and would not look very good. It is always best to be as accurate as possible when providing us with your floor-to-ceiling height.
Our standard dividers are built to suit ceiling heights of 242cm. We can cut these to suit any ceiling height up to 350cm. Please get in touch prior to ordering if your ceiling height is greater than 242cm though as we will need to provide you with a bespoke quotation.

Using reclaimed scaffolding boards, these Fixed Room Dividers will offer a strong and striking piece to any room. Sizes can be made to suit all requirements. By offering a floor and ceiling batten at the top, the dividers are permanently fixed offering more peace of mind.
These dividers work best on solid floors and solid ceilings.
If you have soft flooring or ceilings such as carpet or suspended ceilings, for example, please get in touch before purchasing to discuss alternative installation methods.
As this is a self-install item you are responsible for ensuring they have been safely installed.
We will pre-drill the floor and ceiling batten and will provide screws for you to join the top and bottom to the dividers.
You will need to provide your own fixings to secure the frame to the floor and ceiling.

When selecting boards from our stock, we choose those that we would be happy to have in our own homes.
The appeal of reclaimed wood is its natural feel and rustic character. Small marks—including company branding, abrasions, colour variation, cuts, notches and dents—may remain where they add to the furniture’s appearance.
Do not leave water standing for long periods. Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe up spills.
